Q1: Do you have suppliers for ASTM F136 titanium piercing jewelry? What's the typical MOQ, and can we mix styles and colors in one order?

A: Thank you for your inquiry. All our body piercing jewelry is manufactured from ASTM F136 implant-grade titanium (Ti-6Al-4V ELI), ensuring biocompatibility and safety for direct skin contact. Our MOQ starts as low as 100 pieces per order, and we fully support mixed styles and mixed colors within the same order to help you test the market with lower risk. We can provide a product catalog with current stock availability for immediate selection.

Q2: Which suppliers offer more internal thread options versus external thread? How much more expensive is internal thread typically?

A: Regarding thread types, we offer both internal thread (push-in, threadless) and external thread designs. Internal thread pieces typically run 15-25% higher in cost due to more complex CNC machining requirements, but they offer smoother insertion and reduced tissue irritation, which is why most professional studios prefer them for initial piercings. We can quote both options side by side so you can compare based on your clientele's needs.

Q3: Does this type of product typically require nickel release testing? What's the standard limit for EU market sales?

A: Yes, nickel release testing is essential for EU market compliance. All our titanium products undergo third-party nickel release testing in accordance with EN 1811 standard, with results confirmed below the EU REACH regulation limit of 0.2 μg/cm²/week. We can provide the official test report with lab certification number for your customs clearance and retail compliance documentation.

Q4: When a supplier claims their product is "hypoallergenic," is there a third-party report to verify this, or is it just a marketing claim?

A: We understand your concern — many suppliers claim "hypoallergenic" without proof. We provide verifiable third-party skin sensitization (patch test) reports conducted by accredited labs, valid for 12 months from issue date. Each report includes the lab name, accreditation number, and test methodology, so your customers can independently verify authenticity rather than relying on marketing claims alone.

Q5: Are standard sizes (14G, 16G, 18G, with 6mm/8mm/10mm post lengths) always included as default, or do they require additional customization?

A: Standard gauge sizes (14G, 16G, 18G) with common post/bar lengths (6mm, 8mm, 10mm) are all standard stock items with no additional customization fee. If you require non-standard combinations, we do offer size customization, typically with a 3-5 day lead time addition to standard production for tooling adjustment.

Q6: For wholesale titanium suppliers, what's the typical MOQ (e.g., 1,000 or 5,000 pieces)? How much does the price drop for larger volumes?

A: For wholesale titanium piercing jewelry, our standard MOQ is 1,000 pieces per style/design. Pricing follows a tiered structure: orders of 1,000-2,999 pieces receive standard wholesale pricing, while orders exceeding 5,000 pieces qualify for an additional 10-15% volume discount. All products remain ASTM F136 titanium grade regardless of order volume.

Q7: Does the supplier hold ISO or CE certification? Is this important for customs clearance and retail compliance, and can we still work with suppliers who don't have it?

A: Yes, we hold CE certification for our medical-grade titanium jewelry line, which is required for legal sale within the EU and francophone African markets that follow EU-aligned import standards. We can provide scanned certificates valid through their current expiration date. We'd recommend prioritizing CE-certified suppliers to avoid customs clearance delays or compliance issues at retail level.

Q8: For custom branded designs (logo engraving, gemstone swaps), how long does sampling take, what's the approximate sampling fee, and what's the MOQ for mass production?

A: For custom branding (laser engraving your studio logo, custom gemstone settings), our sample development typically takes 7-10 business days, with a sampling fee of $50-150 USD depending on design complexity (this fee is often deductible from your first bulk order). Minimum order for custom production runs is 500 pieces per custom design.
